Practice 02/10/21 Guidelines


IMPORTANT:

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

This weekends practice on the 2nd October will run under the same COVID-19 restrictions as last weekend as the South Island is still in level 2.

We have had a number of drivers wanting to practice here that are not contracted to the Nelson Speedway. Unfortunately you will NOT be able to practice here in Nelson as we will reserve all available spots for our local competitors. If you turn up YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY!!!

For our locals wishing to race you will need to adhere to the COVID-19 plan which is the same as last week (link below) Make sure you are registered on Race Control before turning up or you will run the risk of being turned away as well.

• Competitor and one (1) pit crew only. Sidecar’s rider, swinger and one pit crew only.

• All general public and non-essential volunteers will be denied entry.

• Pit area will be separated into three separate bubbles with each class assigned to one of two bubbles.

• The third bubble is for the SNZ staff, infield staff, club officials, approved media, St Johns and fire crew.

• All competitors to register on Race Control prior to 10.00pm on Wednesday the 29th September to practice. No registration, no entry to track.

• All people entering track will need to use COVID-19 tracer app or sign in at gate.

• By signing in on Race Control you are signing that you will abide to the level 2 guidelines set out for this weekends practice.

• If you are suffering from flu like symptoms or have any other symptoms that could be related to COVID-19 you must stay home. DO NOT TURN UP AT THE TRACK!!
